Helicopter Pilot

Job Description:

  • Conduct scenic guided helicopter tours over Miami, providing passengers with a safe, enjoyable, and informative experience.
  • Maintain and inspect the helicopter in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies, reporting any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Coordinate with the ground crew and dispatch team to ensure efficient tour operations, including loading and unloading passengers.
  • Stay up-to-date with weather conditions and air traffic in the Miami area, making informed decisions regarding flight cancellations or rescheduling when necessary.
  • Keep the helicopter clean and well-maintained, both internally and externally, to ensure a presentable and professional appearance for passengers and company branding.

Job Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Commercial Helicopter Pilot License (CPL-H).
  • Minimum of 1000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time in helicopters.
  • Minimum of 800 hours in Robinson R44 helicopters.
  • Minimum of 300 hours as an instructor in Robinson R44.
  • CFII (Certified Flight Instructor Instrument) rating.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English.
  • Completed a full Robinson safety course within the last 3 years.
  • Previous experience in conducting sightseeing tours.
  • Previous experience flying in Class Bravo airspace.
  • Previous experience flying over the ocean.
  • Comfortable flying in high-traffic airspace.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
